I'm not thrilled at all by those new pop ads that appear when I log on to LiveJournal these days. Very, very annoying. After more than 3 days of being offline because of wacky outside cable issues, the problems appear to be fixed. This is after several mind-numbing hours on the phone with Comcast "customer service". The repair guys were cool though, and they did fix everything...at least for now. "Heroes" is this Saturday the 6th, and then next week promises to be rather full...I'll be spinning at Ceremony on Monday the 8th with DJ Mothra as part of the Together Festival (and I'm thinking of doing the first hour - from 9 to 10 - as a "History of Electropop 101" set, so I'm putting music together for that, then it's on to a couple of Magnetic Fields concerts on the 10th & 11th at the Wilbur, Xmortis Vampy Valentines on Friday the 12th, a visit to The Common Ground on Saturday the 13th to wish superstar VJ/DJ Craig MacNeil a Happy Birthday and enjoy the glory that is his night Videodrome/Discotheque. On Sunday at noon, it's off to the Somerville Theatre for the delightful madness & mayhem that is the annual 24 hour long Sci-Fi Movie Marathon. It's become a tradition for Stephin, Claudia and myself to attend this, and I'm very much looking forward to it.
